“Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience.” – Paulo Coelho
Isn’t it ironic that the lessons we teach our kids are very rarely applied to our lives as adults? We teach kids to share what you have, be kind and be brave. I think I need to hear those lessons more today than I did when I was a wee lass.
The one I particularly struggle with is “be brave.” As an adult, life just becomes more scary – too many responsibilities, too many risks and too costly to fail. That’s exactly why I adopted it as my motto.
