Revenge of the Anniversary Cake

When you’re planning your wedding, it’s hard to determine which traditions to include and which traditions should be retired… permanently. I mean, no one has an unlimited budget and at some point we all have to decide what’s really important and put our money there.

I wish someone had told me that when I was planning the cake portion of my wedding. I had multiple Pinterest wedding boards dedicated to all aspects of wedding planning and I had fallen in love with the idea of a dessert table. So I decided to have a main wedding cake, secondary cake, lots of assorted single-portion desserts, and even a variety of candies. I was covered on all the sweets… or so I thought.
